The British Governments SDR of November 2010 has been described as one of the harshest in recent years. One of the many casualities has been the RAF and Royal Navy Harrier force with the type being totally withdrawn from service in 2011, several years ahead of previous plans. As one of my local airbases I intend to record photographically the final months of the Harrier in British service.
